August 2013: Garage, August 19, 2013

My youngest male cat is not exactly good at taking care of his long, thick, fluffy fur.  So both sides of him were covered in mats--or one big mat, as was the case on one side.  I spent hours cutting these mats off of him.

There you can see poor Boof, with the big splotch of short fur, almost to his skin.  He's not happy about this and hated every step of the process, but it's done now.  Now I need to spend more time brushing him so he doesn't develop them again.

I don't know if this picture is better, but here's all his missing fur.  Poor baby.
